Dear Friends and Family,
Happy 2014!!! This
year is already so exciting. January 7,
we celebrated knowing our child’s face for the first time. This May, she will celebrate her third
birthday (her first birthday in our family), and we will celebrate our first
anniversary as Norris Family Insurance Group.
We can just feel the energy of this year!
You supported, loved, prayed, and blessed us throughout
our adoption of Vivienne, and we are pleased to share that we are in the very
beginning stages of adopting again! We
anticipate that Vivienne will be about 4 years old when she becomes a big
sister. We invite you to follow our
journey on this blog! We will be doing things a little differently
this time around in that we will be fundraising in addition to applying income/
savings and budgeting. Please stick us on
your prayer list for the long haul. We know better than we did two years ago how fierce it can get out there, but we are thankful that God is
choosing to write another adoption story into our own home. We are excited to find out who the Lord is bringing into our family! He is the best family builder I know...
To the right is our fundraising page, which we plan to update regularly! Our first endeavor is going to be a large scale garage sale April 26. We will be collecting items for this over the next couple of months! We are happy to drop off a few boxes at your
house, and pick up the items when it’s convenient for you. Please let Elizabeth know if you have any
items or think you may in the future at Elizabeth@norrisfamilyins.com. Thank you!
This calling was not the slow leading we experienced with
Vivienne’s adoption, although our desire has consistently been to go back to China. This was more of a tidal wave,
and the question quickly changed from our “When?” to God’s “Is it yes, or
no?” That is one shakey step out, but we know that
because God has put this in front of us, He will equip us in every way towards His glory. It is a unique and rare privilege to enjoy so many relationships that enable us to speak freely to you about this-
thank you for blessing our lives!
With much love,
The Norris Family
